Trinidad is one of the newer Cuban brands which, like Cohiba, started out as a cigar that was given as an official diplomatic gift.

The medium flavoured Trinidad Topes first appeared as a Limited Edition but is now a permanent part of the Trinidad range and reflects the growing fashion for short, wide ring gauge cigars.

I like the wider ring gauges and prefer a cigar that is no narrower than a 50 ring gauge robusto size.

This beautifully constructed cigar is perfect for you if you’re looking for a cigar that is the roughly the same length as a robusto size (Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill or Partagas Serie D No.4) but significantly wider.
