This item is an antique cigar press/mold. The cigar mold consists of two matching parts with twenty barges for the cigars and a hole for a dowel.
This mold, which has a great rugged look, will have been used to create many thousands of cigars.
An excellent conversation starter about the hand-rolling and pressing process of cigars.
A beautifully made piece of manufacturing history that would look great in a display cabinet or on the wall of any home.
On top of the cigar mold are the texts: Carl Intelmann Akt.-Ges. Gegr. 1862, Bad Zwlschenahn 1/0 Pramlert in Oldenburg, Bremen u. Amsterdam, and the number No 15932 & DRGM 122973 burned in. and further lettering marked as VERTGW: H A FADDEGON BAARN
